Owner's Experience

The home's owner and her daughter related the following story: The owner's daughter and granddaughter were staying overnight. The granddaughter was sleeping in the guest bedroom to the North of the master bedroom (Reference drawing). The daughter and owner were sleeping in the master bedroom. The owner woke up at ~2:35 am to the awareness of a very strong smell. "It was overpowering", she said. Her daughter woke up not long after that with a start. "Oh my god", the daughter said, "Dad’s here". She had identified the odor as the "sick room" odor of the hospital room where her father had died in 1979. "I feel him here - in this room - NOW" she exclaimed. "There was a mixture of flowers and that 'sick room' odor", the surviving wife stated. The granddaughter woke up and could smell the odor as well. She got out of bed and entered the master bedroom to inquire about the odor then walked throughout the house. It permeated the entire house and lasted for approximately 45 minutes to an hour. They went outside and could not smell it but upon entering the house it was there. This left them extremely confused.

The daughter had recently finalized a divorce from her husband. The family had begun to feel a sense of being reunited at this time as the daughter's marriage separated/alienated them.

Investigation Weather and Astronomical Data Solar x-rays – NORMAL | Geomagnetic Field – QUIET Moon – – 79% illuminated After establishing a baseline we found some EMF spikes in the master bedroom. EVP sessions with a digital voice recorder and an audio tape recorder revealed no results. We found some energy patters with the divining rods. The area of the master bedroom provided some interesting results (See photograph at right). The South area of the bedroom revealed some patterns the divining rods were able to sense in coorelation with the photograph. Independently investigators examined this room with the same results. This area is the area where the paranormal event took place. The interviews with the family members left no doubt that, to them, there was a paranormal event that took place. We use a number of terms to define activity we encounter. We feel that this family experienced a visitation from a family member( the father/husband) whom had passed. He may be watching over the household as well. In our post investigation with them, they were much more at ease and came to view the event as a gift. We were invited to return at some future time.
