The Haunting This property is located on the Western edge of Old Town facing Rio Grande Boulevard. The current owner has a restaurant on this property although it is now for sale. The owner also has another restaurant located in Old Town as well. The interior is still set up as a restaurant with tables and chairs etc. The kitchen is set up as a commercial unit. The building is two stories. The upstairs is currently arranged as a full-on living space. The owner complained of the space not feeling right and not feeling alone there when she was alone in the building. She began to feel sick when she was in the building, as she would work there after hours. After business started falling off she decided to close it down. Knowing she was healthy and that her other restaurant was doing well it became too much and she called us in.
The Investigation It must be stated first that the electricity in this building has been turned off. Upon initial visit to this property the position of the building was analyzed. The feng shui of it with regards to Rio Grande Boulevard is part of the difficulty with this property. We will work with the property owner to instill feng shui cures. Specifically the bar area to the south upon entering the building will be addressed. Witnesses reported being pushed and brushed up against in this area. A cupboard drawer was seen opening and closing by itself. Photos of orbs were taken in this area as well. With regards to the shape of the building, the traffic traveling North on Rio Grande Boulevard creates very strong shar (or negative) chi or energy. It "crashes" into the protruding area of the building and collects there i.e. the bar area. In the main dining room to the North a 15°higher difference in the temperature was recorded within a 1.5 ft area with no explainable reason. Warm spots are a similar phenomenon as the familiar cold spots. The shadows that are produced in this room as a result of outside traffic are a center of disturbance for this room as well. There is a constant barrage of this activity, which creates confusing negative shar chi energy patterns that need to be refocused. In the center of the building there is a small room enclosed by curtains. It was the center to some very uncomfortable energy patterns and photos of orbs were taken there. After approximately 1.5 hours of investigating the team members began to report of feeling ill. At his point we went into a vigil state and tried to "just sit" within this space. We all sat in different areas of the building and reports of feeling ill increased. The words "dysentery", "exposure", "flu" were cited. As this property was at one time a confederate fort and later a confederate cemetery we were beginning to believe we were receiving the energy patterns of those who were assigned here or died and were buried here. To note, the feelings of illness receded approximately 1 to 1.5 hours after we left the premises. The owner of this property has asked us to find out what is in the building and remove it. Also we are going to investigate it further. There is an underground area we were asked to examine among other things. So this property will remain open and this report will be amended as needed and new information is discovered. |
