History
The original home was constructed of brick in the 1840’s by the Zamora family which included all modern conveniences. A team member is a friend of a descendant of the Zamora family who resides in Albuquerque and was able to shed some light on family history. At the time of the Civil War the building was used by the Confederate army. The army consisted of 300 soldiers who remained in Albuquerque during the march north of Col. Sibley in 1862. There is a basement that houses a boiler accommodation for plumbing and venting pipes and ducting. The building has been:

  • Jewelry store
  • Butcher shop
  • General store
  • Currently a restaurant

Investigation

Weather and Astronomical Data
Solar X-Rays – NORMAL | Geomagnetic Field – QUIET
Moon – 10th lunar day – 78.5% illuminated

This building faces ~ North. It is located on the South side of Old Town (reference map). We started with a walk-through of the building starting in the main dining room. In the East Southeast area of the dining room team members sensed and measured a strong energy pattern with the EMF detectors and rods. One team member sensed and saw the image of a little girl here. "I felt the energy of a little girl and got a brief flash of a picture of her in this location. Strong EMF readings support some anomalous activity there as it was able to be tracked along the SE area along the East wall to the Northeast area of the dining room.

There were a number of anomalous images indicating orbs captured in the front dining room area. It must be noted that rapping sounds were experienced during an EVP session in response to questions. This will be explored further.

Anomalous EVP readings were recorded in both the Men's and Women's bathrooms. Witnesses said the door leading to the patio area opened on its own accord. After studying this we attribute this to the wind blowing the door open as the door is balanced such that a very small breeze can open the door if it is not closed completely.

This investigation will remain open for further data inclusion as it is made available as the history dating back to the Civil War makes this a fascinating study.

Tunnels

The team entered the tunnel in the main dining room. That tunnel had ducting and piping throughout. We were able to proceed north for approximately 15 feet. (The air felt cooler and that was verified with the thermal scanner). At that point the tunnel continued north and opened to the east. The east tunnel appeared to extend approximately 20 feet and then turn south to hook up with the other opening in the Southeast area of the dining room. We proceeded down that tunnel, but could not get to the end as it became crowded with piping and ducting. We were able to continue down the north tunnel, but became too small to continue exploring . The tunnels appeared much smaller due to the piping and ducting that was crowding the spaces.

Upon entering the smaller tunnel to the Southeast of the other entrance, there was no way to explore except to just look down the tunnel as it was filled with ducting and piping.

Note: The orb-like images in the photo to the right are dust particles- they are NOT orbs.
